Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias met with the Ambassador of Israel to Greece, Yossi Amrani.
According to a Twitter post by Kikilias, the plan to increase the number of visitors from the Jewish state throughout the year was discussed, especially for three-day trips, alternative tourism and the autumn holidays.
"We are close, both literally and metaphorically," said Kikilias.
