Greece beats US and Italy to win first medal in ISSF World Junior Shooting Championships

Greece won its first medal in the mixed skeet category at the ISSF World Junior Shooting Championship  in Peru after Emmanuela Katzouraki and Nikos Frantzeskakis  won bronze at the event.

After great performances in their individual competitions, Katzouraki and Frantzeskakis joined their skills and determination to bring about success in the mixed skeet cxategory of the competition.

After first knocking out the Americans Ellis and Ross with a score of 2-1, in the fight for the bronze medal, they proved to be superior to the Italians Gianda Longi and Gianmarco Tuzi. Specifically, they got a difference of two points from the first pole. They managed to keep this difference, shot by shot, until the end.
