Queen Rania of Jordan announced the engagement of her daughter, Princess Iman bint Abdullah, to the Venezuelan-Greek Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.
25-year-old Princess Iman is the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, while Thermiotis, who was born in the Venezuelan capital Caracas, is a New York-based managing director of a venture capital fund.
In her announcement, Queen Rania said: “Congratulations my dear Iman. Your smile has always been a gift of love that I have cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life full of love and laughter."
The Princess’ grandfather was King Hussein and her grandmother is the English-born Princess Muna, his second wife. Princess Iman completed her degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Jameel Alexander Thermiotis was born in 1994 and is currently 28-years-old. Iman, his soon-to-be-25-year-old wife, was born in Amman, Jordan on September 27, 1996, and has one sister and one brother.
The fortune of Jameel Alexander Thermiotis is estmiated to range from $10,000,000-$50,000,000.
The Thermiotis family maintains close relations with its roots in Greece and almost every year they visit Andros.
