Crete: 54-year-old tourist dead on the sunbed

A last swim in Crete, specifically in Stalida, was made by a tourist from Great Britain.

According to Creta Post, the 54-year-old British tourist was enjoying the sun and the sea while lying on the sunbed on an organised beach in the area of ​​Stalida.

For hours the 54-year-old tourist remained motionless on the deckchair, which raised suspicions of the people who manage the beach, who notified ambulance services.

The rescuers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the unfortunate 54-year-old, but without any result. The Briton was taken to Heraklion University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The necropsy is expected to shed light on the causes that led to the death of the unfortunate 54-year-old.
