The social media platform has seen a spike of issues on the website Down Detector, which tracks outages through a range of sources including user reports, with issues with both the app and website being reported across the country on Wednesday (January 4, 2023).
The Twitter app and website have been struggling to function for users in Australia and New Zealand.
Many users have reported issues with the app from as early as 6:30 am this morning.
It’s the latest outage to hit the social media site since Elon Musk acquired the company.
