LESVOS: Man arrested for abusing a donkey - The animal's legs were tied with a leash

A Greek man who owns a donkey was arrested in the area of ​​Plomari on the island of Lesvos for violating animal protection legislation.

The arrested person did not comply with the laws relating to the well-being of an animal. The man had tied the animal's two legs with a leash, which is strictly prohibited.

An administrative fine was also imposed on the owner of the donkey, reported Proto Thema.
