A Greek man who owns a donkey was arrested in the area of Plomari on the island of Lesvos for violating animal protection legislation.
The arrested person did not comply with the laws relating to the well-being of an animal. The man had tied the animal's two legs with a leash, which is strictly prohibited.
An administrative fine was also imposed on the owner of the donkey, reported Proto Thema.
