The figure of the elderly gentleman who appeared in a restaurant yesterday afternoon did not go unnoticed in Halepa Square as some recognised 84-year-old Jon Voight, an "old" Hollywood star who, for the younger generation is known as the father of Angelina Jolie.
He was accompanied by a friend, and sat down to eat souvlakia.

Angelina Jolie's father enjoyed his meal - he indulged in the traditional souvlaki - with his friend, he was relaxed and photographed with workers of the restaurant.
The reason for his visit to Athens remains unknown, i.e. if he is here for business reasons or for vacation.
He is considered a timeless asset after starring in such amazing films as Midnight Cowboy and When Violence Breaks Out, while his performance in Andrei Konchalovsky's The Great Escape was considered outstanding.
