The United States embassy in Athens and its consular section, the US consulate General in Thessaloniki, and all US government offices in Greece will be closed on Tuesday for American Independence Day.
Independence Day is a federal holiday commemorating the Declaration of Independence, which was ratified on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America.
