Tax Evasion Uncovered: Well-Known Alimos and Santorini Clubs Face Lockdown and Fines

By 9 months ago

Tax evasion cases were recently uncovered in two popular clubs situated in Alimos and Santorini.

Government uditors discovered that a well-known club in Alimos had failed to issue 15 receipts amounting to a total value of 605 euros during a performance by a renowned singer. As a consequence, the club was subjected to a 48-hour "lockdown" as well as fines.

Similarly, in Santorini, a famous club situated within a hotel was discovered to have neglected to issue 3,726 receipts, totaling a value of 355,000 euros. Due to its affiliation with a hotel establishment, the imposed fine did not include the 48-hour "lockdown." However, once the club's tax activities have been fully examined during the ongoing audit, a further monetary penalty shall be imposed.
