Police proceeded with the arrest of a perpetrator of a knife attack against a compatriot from Pakistan in one of the most central streets of Athens.
The bloody incident happened yesterday, shortly before midnight, on Ermou Street, between two men from Pakistan. One of them has been taken to Nikaia State General Hospital, stabbed and in serious condition, ERT reported.
Police officers arrived at the scene, handcuffed a 54-year-old man being held and questioned. So far, the causes of the fight are not known. What is important now for the authorities is to save the man's life in the hospital.
He has not even been identified and is unknown to the police.
