Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have chosen their beloved Antiparos again this year for their summer vacation.

After the couple cruised with the Obamas to Ios in June, the glamorous couple returned to Greece.

The two wanted to see other parts of Greece, so they went to Karpathos. Passers-by saw them taking walks in the island's port with their dogs.

Hanks did not hesitate to be photographed with the two grandchildren of the mayor of Karpathos, Yannis Nisyriou, according to the local website Karpathiaka Nea. According to the same site, they arrived on the island in their private boat.

After Karpathos, Hanks, with his wife and their friends, continued their vacation in the Aegean. They were spotted at Barbarossa restaurant in Paros on Saturday night, enjoying local dishes and delicious delicacies.

Hanks and his Greek-American wife, Wilson, vacation in Greece every year.

At the end of December 2019, the famous actor and his wife became naturalised Greek citizens at the initiative of the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who had made the relevant proposal to the actor and gladly accepted.

Wilson has Greek roots since her mother comes from Epirus, while Hanks loves Greece and its people and spends many of his summers in Antiparos, where the couple also have their own home.
