Greece's Special Mission Sniper Basic Training School (SMIS) is a 7 week programme that provides specialist training where military personnel gain the skills  to attack selected targets, at long distances and under conditions that make success impossible for any other shooter.

The SMIS was held from August 28 to October 13, 2023, at the headquarters of the Unorthodox War Training Centre (KEAP) at the "ANTGOU GEORGIOU KATSANI" Camp in Rentina Thessaloniki with the participation of 10 personnel, which included 2 from Cyprus and 2 from Serbia.

During the 7 week training camp, participants were instructed on individual tactics, cover, concealment and camouflage.
