A pro-Palestinian rally was held in the Greek capital today, as Israel continued its bombardment and blockade of Gaza in response to an unprecedented surprise attack by Hamas.
Traffic regulations are in effect in downtown Athens on Sunday as a rally organised by PAME (labour union affiliated to the Communist Party), under the slogan "Solidarity to the people of Palestine" is in progress.
Additionally, there will also be a concert supporting the same cause and after the end of the concert the demonstrators will stage a protest march to the Embassy of Israel
