"Monaxia mou ola" is one of the most expressive and recognisable songs of Pyx Lax. With lyrics that still speak to our hearts and take us back in time.
The big hit was released in 1998 with music by Filippos Pliatsikas and lyrics by him and Olga Vlachopoulos. Behind the inspiration of the song, there is, as always, one or more stories.
As he has revealed, one night in the winter of 1997, when he was driving in torrential rain while on a trip to the South of France, he was forced to pull over to the right of the road until the storm abated. It was at that exact moment when he was observing the landscape around him that he wrote "Monaxia mou ola".
Olga Vlachopoulou, in turn, has mentioned that her own inspiration came after a romantic disappointment.
