Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Flight from Sydney to Auckland Encounters Technical Issue, Leaving 24 Passengers Injured

A LATAM Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flight between Sydney and Auckland has suffered a "technical problem" causing a strong lateral movement. Passengers felt a "quick little drop", now 24 people are injured -- one of them seriously, and the rest in minor to moderate conditions.

Upon its scheduled arrival in Auckland, the passengers and crew were met with a response from the Hato Hone St. John ambulance service. The ambulance crews assessed and provided treatment to approximately 50 patients, with one individual in serious condition and the rest in moderate to minor condition.
