By 2 weeks ago

The Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, concluding her official visit to Chile, unveiled a replica of the Kore statue from the Archaic period, donated by the Acropolis Museum, at the "Grecia" metro station in Santiago, as a symbol of friendship between the two nations.

Other replicas of ancient Greek sculptures, donated by Greece as part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Chile's independence, are also exhibited at this metro station. In her address, Sakellaropoulou expressed her wish for the bonds that unite the two peoples and our countries to be further strengthened in the future.

Following this, Sakellaropoulou met with Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Joseph, and visited the Holy Temple of Saints Constantine and Helen.
