A child, who was infected while in India, has fully recovered.

Additionally, a different strain of bird flu has been detected at an egg farm near Melbourne.

Bird flu has previously jumped from birds to cows to humans in the U.S.

Health officials say the current outbreak in Australia presents no immediate risk to human health.
