Kyrgios Adds to the Kokkinkis Heated Exchange

Nick Kyrgios has entered the fray between Thanasi Kokkinakis and Australian tennis icon Todd Woodbridge.

Following Kokkinakis's round-one victory over Roman Safiullin, Kokkinakis took a jab at Woodbridge's comments, saying, “That’s why he is trying to host every game show under the sun.”

Backing his friend, Kyrgios responded on Instagram, calling out past players for their envy and highlighting the financial opportunities for today’s athletes.

“We’re earning 6-7 figures at these ‘exo’s’ – we have every right to go and get that money!! The game is much more physical now. Don’t be jealous!”
