Earthquake Strikes Between Kythera and Crete

According to the Geodynamic Institute, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck early this morning in the sea area between Kythera and Crete.

The earthquake, which occurred at 6:36 am, had an epicenter 87 km southwest of Kythera

So far, no reports of damage or injuries have been issued. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
