According to the Geodynamic Institute, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck early this morning in the sea area between Kythera and Crete.
The earthquake occurred at 6:36 a.m., with an epicenter 87 km southwest of Kythera. The focal depth was estimated at 11.6 km.
So far, no reports of damage or injuries have been issued. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
