According to a survey by UK holiday firm On the Beach, which interviewed over 1,000 British lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender travellers the island of Corfu ranked third in the list of most gay-friendly European beach destinations, beating Mykonos which came in fifth on the list.
Top of the rankings was Ibiza with 18% of the vote, as Europe’s most LGBT-friendly beach destination, followed by Costa Del Sol (10%), Corfu (9%) and Costa Brava (8%).
