George Michael's grave seen for first time at Highgate Cemetery

By 7 years ago

George Michael's grave has been viewed for the first time by the public, after staff at Highgate Cemetery removed the screens around the plot.

The legendary singer was buried next to his mother, following his funeral at the graveyard in North London. The plot is marked by a grey stone cross and is surrounded by white flower blossoms.

Until yesterday the plot had been protected with a large green metal barrier for privacy.

George's funeral was held on Wednesday, March 29, with only close family and friends in attendance.
