Greece second in the world for Botox injection procedures

Demand for cosmetic surgery procedures continue to sky rocket worldwide and according to a new report from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), Greece is second in the world for Botolinum Toxin (Botox) injection procedures.

ISAPS results for their annual Global Aesthetic Survey, showing procedures completed in 2016, highlighted an overall increase of 9% in surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures worldwide, within the past twelve months.

Figures show there is an estimated 292 plastic surgeons performing Botox injections in Greece, which has a population of 10.8 million (2017) and Chinese Taipei (Republic of China), who ranked first in the report has a population of 2.8 million, with 665 surgeons performing these kinds of procedures.
