Greek designers create first non-inflatable floating sofa

They say the most innovative and ultimately successful ideas come at the most random moments and that is the case with Manos Tsikliotis and Vivian Paraschos, who are behind the first non-inflatable floating sofas, now available worldwide.

The idea began over a cup of coffee when the pair first chatted about this unique idea, which at first glance looks like an inflatable sofa, however is unlike anything else you have experienced.

The collection named WAVES, feature 2 metre long sofas made of fibreglass material with marble like texture and weigh the same as a normal sofa. The secret of INOMO’s WAVES collection is in the material, which allows the sofa bed to float on a wet surface.

Inspired by the movement of the waves in the Mediterrenanen sea, WAVES are suitable for outside use, even in the most extreme weather conditions.

This versatile collection of outdoor daybeds with revolutionary design can be used at home, on the sand or afloat in the sea or in the pool, securely anchored in shallow water.
