Antetokounmpo brothers race for solidarity in Athens

By 6 years ago

A worldwide message of solidarity, diversity, and teamwork was sent out by Giannis, Thanassis and Kostas Antetokounmpo, who ran a 5km race on the streets of Athens yesterday July 7, named "Fly5K with the Brothers".

The race began at Sepolia, at the Triton basketball court, where the boys began their career and played their first games. The race ended outside the Panathinaiko Stadium Kallimarmaro. The initiative was a charity event in support of the needs of Father Andrew's non-profit organisation "The Ark of the World".

"My family and I will try our best to promote Greece's beauties, people and culture. The most important elements in Greece's culture are solidarity and philanthropy and that is why we are participating in a race that we will start on July 7th in Athens to also strengthen and help the effort of the non-profit Organisation Ark of the World," Giannis Antetokounmpo, nicknamed the "Greek Freak", said.
