Basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, otherwise known as the “Greek Freak” has received the ‘Euroscar European Player of the Year’ Award for 2018!

The Euroscar is an annual basketball award given to the year’s best European male basketball player, and its name is a combination of “Europe” and “Oscar”, making it the European basketball’s answer to the Oscars.

Giannis led with 134 points, surpassing Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic in the voting.

The Milwaukee Bucks star player has now become the second Greek to win the award since Nick Galis in 1987.

Bravo Giannis!
