Overall, AEGEAN and Olympic Air will transfer the Holy Flame to 14 Greek destinations.

The aircraft, which will depart immediately after the arrival of the Holy Flame from Jerusalem, will fly towards three geographical areas: the Aegean; the Ionian; Central and Eastern Greece.

Flights will be chartered exclusively for the transfer of the Holy Flame to Ioannina, Kefalonia, Zakynthos, Samos, Mykonos and Larissa.

According to an announcement, the carrier estimates the scheduled arrival time of the aircraft at the last destination to be between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm.

Furthermore, the Holy Flame will be transferred on 8 scheduled flights to Santorini, Mytilini, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Alexandroupoli, Heraklio, Limnos and Chios.

As every year, during holy week, AEGEAN and Olympic Air serve a traditional Greek Easter menu. Also, on Holy Saturday, the cabin crew will offer passengers Easter candles (lambades) on all international flights to Greece and all domestic flights.
