Protesting islanders barge into Chios hotel on Wednesday

Greek locals on the island of Chios who are against the closed immigration centre being built attacked eight police officers who were staying at their hotel.

According to Greek police, the officers were injured, while there are concerns that protesters may have also removed equipment.
