Following the deliberate attempt by a Turkish Coast Guard vessel to ram into a Greek Coast Guard patrol on Wednesday morning, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commented that "they will run away and we will chase them. That’s how it will be from now on."

The Greek vessel was patrolling the coast of Kos at the time of the incident, which resulted in some damage to the boat but no injuries.

In a video released by German tabloid Bild, Greek Coast Guard officers on the boat are heard saying, “they hit us from behind, they broke the edge.”

Just in: Greece's Foreign Ministry has summoned Turkey's Ambassador in Athens, Burak Ozugergin over the dangerous incident that occurred.
