The director of Mykonos' Health Centre, Ntina Sampsouni has confirmed the first coronavirus case on the island.
According to information, the patient presented herself to Mykonos' Health centre with lower respiratory tract symptoms and has been hospitalised since Monday.
As a precautionary measure before she was diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19), she was treated in isolation.
"It should be noted that in accordance to the instructions of the Hellenic National Public Health Organisation (ΕΟΔΥ), all protection measures of the staff were taken and in accordance to the management protocol, all the patient's contacts are being tracked," Ntina Sampsouni posted on her personal Facebook page.
