Aegean Airlines invites customers to donate miles to frontline workers

As healthcare workers fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Aegean Airlines invites members of its Miles + Bonus frequent flyer program to donate miles to the staff at Greece’s 17 referral hospitals.

“You donate miles. We triple them. This is the least we can do together, for those who are currently doing everything they possibly can for us,” Aegean says on its website.

The goal is to offer 2 round trip tickets to all the medical staff of the 17 referral hospitals in Greece.

"So that, when this is over, they can celebrate the return to normality by enjoying with their loved ones a trip to any Greek destination they desire," it added.

All Aegean Airlines' Miles + Bonus members have to do is login to their accounts to donate the number of miles they wish.

For those who aren't members, they can register and join the the effort by donating part of the welcome miles received upon registration.
