A former school in Paramythia, Thesprotia that was donated by Greek silversmith Sotirios Voulgaris, is being transformed into a multi-space venue for art, history, culture and education.

The mayor of Souli, Giannis Karagiannis, spoke to AMNA about the project, which he described as very important for the area, because both the residents will have a multicultural space, but visitors will also be able to learn about the history of the place.

According to the design, the Bvlgari complex will host cultural and educational functions, as well as "narrate" the history of the creator of Bulgari, Sotiris Voulgaris.

There will be spaces for interactive exhibitions, library-reading rooms, as well as theatre production rooms for young students.

Earlier this year, heiress of the luxury brand BVLGARI, Anna Bulgari Calissoni, passed away at the age of 93.
