Tsitsipas and Sakkari through to French Open second round

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari are both through to the French Open second round!

World number six Stefanos Tsitsipas clawed his way back from two sets down to beat Jaume Munar 4-6 2-6 6-1 6-4 6-4.

He will meet Pablo Cuevas for a spot in the third round.

Meanwhile Maria Sakkari defeated Ajla Tomljanovic 6-0, 7-5, to advance into the next round.

She will now take on rising teen Kamilla Rakhimova on Wednesday.

Sakkari has shown she can compete with the very best, as she defeated former world No. 1 in women’s single tennis, Serena Williams, last month.
