The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, called on all political parties to form a broad consensus on the contract for purchasing 18 Rafale fighter jets during a discussion in Parliament's Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee.

"I call on all political forces to take a positive stance. The supply shields, strengthens the deterrent power of the Armed Forces," Panagiotopoulos stated while commenting on the submission of the bill to Parliament.
