Stefanos Tsitsipas is through to the quarter-finals to play Rafael Nadal after Matteo Berrettini withdrew from the match.
The Italian ninth seed was scheduled to face the Greek fifth seed in the second match on Rod Laver Arena.
However Berrettini withdrew due to an abdominal injury suffered earlier in the tournament.
The Greek will face Rafael Nadal in the last eight on Wednesday.
It is the second straight year Tsitsipas has been given a walkover at the Australian Open - but last year it hurt him, as he lost the ensuing match in the third round against Milos Raonic.
