Another 122 recognised refugees departed today by air from Mytilene to the German city of Hannover.

This is the second relocation of people from Mytilene under the relocation program, which is implemented by the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum, in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration, with funding from the European Commission.

The first flight took place last Wednesday when 116 identified refugees were evacuated.

As provided by the agreement of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, 1,553 people will be relocated from Greece to Germany.
