The famous National Geographic magazine has dedicated its latest edition to Greece.

“Greece. Discover the wonders of the mainland: unspoilt peninsulas, ancient ruins, vibrant cities and mountains steeped in myth!” adorns the front cover of the publication.

It is recalled that the Greek island of Alonissos was honoured by National Geographic on its renowned ‘Best of the World’ list of destinations for 2021.

Alonissos, its surrounding waters and minor islands, including Peristera, Kyra Panagia, Gioura, Psathoura, Skantzoura and Piperi, form the Alonissos Marine Park, the largest of its kind in Europe.
