Chief of the General Staff of the French Navy visited Greece

On Thursday and Friday, the Chief of the General Staff of the French Navy, Admiral Pierre Vandier, paid an official visit to Greece.

On Friday, the Chief of General Staff, Rear Admiral Stylianos Petrakis, welcomed his French counterpart to the Papagou camp.

They had the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest and cooperation.

Then the Chief of General Staff of France visited the Operations Center of the Fleet Headquarters where he was welcomed by the Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Panagiotis Limberis who informed him about the activities of the Fleet Headquarters.

The visit highlighted the excellent cooperation of the Navy of the two countries and its importance in enhancing security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
