One month old baby in hospital with COVID-19 in Crete

A baby tested positive for COVID-19 and is being treated at the Venizelio Hospital of Heraklion.

The infant entered the unit at just 26 days old and on Wednesday will be one month old.

His mother also tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Creta24, the baby developed a high fever.

The parents did a rapid test, which came out positive, and the infant is now being treated and is expected to make a full recovery.

In the ages 0-17 years, there has been 69,521 cases recorded.
