The Australian State of New South Wales will drop COVID isolation rules for household contacts as of Friday, 21 April 2022.

Currently, a range of workers are exempt from isolating for 7 days if they live with a COVID-positive person.

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet announced that hotel quarantine will cease for unvaccinated international travellers from April 30.

The requirement for key workforce personnel to be vaccinated against COVID-19 will also be dropped, with the exception of aged care and disability workers.
