Greek-American singer Evangelia has confirmed she will submit songs to Greece and Cyprus for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Evagelia has confirmed on social media that she would like to submit songs to the Greek and Cypriot broadcasters for Eurovision 2023. The singer also submitted songs to the broadcasters last year. One of the songs she submitted was “Ónira”, which unfortunately did not make it through to the second evaluation stage.
Evangelia Psarakis, commonly known as Evangelia, is a famous American-Greek singer. She was born in New Jersey in 1991. Evangelia grew up commuting between her grandmother’s small farm on the Greek island of Crete and her parent’s home in the US on the American East Coast, consequently meaning two completely different musical worlds, both of which influenced her style.
Neither RIK (Cyprus) nor ERT (Greece) has publicly stated how they will be selecting their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. However, it has been reported that Cyprus will opt for an internal selection, following initial reports that they will select through the talent show All Together Now.
