A 47-year-old man, who had a sexualised conversation on the internet with a 13-year-old girl in Patras, will sit on the bench today.
Although the incident happened on September 11, the man who declared himself “repentant”, went through an automatic process and got a postponement for his trial, which will finally take place today.
According to the Peloponnisos newspaper, the man sent the young girl obscene sexual messages and even asked her for nude photos!
The messages were seen by her mother and father, with the girl’s father setting a trap for the 47-year-old.
The 42-year-old father started communicating with the perpetrator, pretending to be his daughter.
The father made an appointment with him in a square in Zarouhleika and appeared with two of his boxer friends. He is a boxer himself.
The 42-year-old father did not touch the attacker, but his two boxer friends beat the 47-year-old and called the police. The 47-year-old was arrested on the charge of insulting the sexual dignity of a minor and was taken to the prosecutor.
Today he will sit on the bench to be tried.
