The first phase of voting for Greece’s “CAR OF THE YEAR” has ended. This year’s vote includes the 30 new cars launched in Greece in 2022.

These cars are new models and not renewed or new versions of some existing ones. Also, all of them have been tested by the editors of the No. 1 automotive media in Greece, News Auto, and the first car magazine in circulation and readability, CAR.

This phase highlighted the final 10 candidates, which will be put to a new vote to determine which car will receive the title of “CAR OF THE YEAR 2023”.

The 10 cars are (in alphabetical order):

  • Alfa Romeo Tonale
  • Dacia Jogger
  • DS 4
  • Hyundai Ioniq 5
  • Nissan X-Trail
  • Opel Astra
  • Skoda Fabia
  • Suzuki S-Cross
  • Toyota Corolla Cross
  • VW ID.5
