Thessaloniki: Fugitive woman and Pakistani were arrested

Two arrests were made by the police authorities in Thessaloniki as prosecution documents were pending against two individuals.

Specifically, the following were arrested:

  • 57-year-old citizen, by police officers of the Security Department of Toumba-Triandria, because two decisions of the Single-Member Criminal Appeal Court of Thessaloniki were pending against her, by which she was sentenced to a total sentence of 8 years imprisonment, 3 years imprisonment and a fine of 5,000 euros, for possession, trafficking and selling drugs.
  • 21-year-old Pakistani, by police officers of the White Tower Security Department, against whom a decision of the Three-member Court of Misdemeanors of Thessaloniki was pending, by which he was sentenced to a prison sentence (8 years) and a fine of 40,000 euros, for facilitating the illegal residence of citizens of a third country for serial profiteering.

Those arrested were taken to the competent judicial authority, Voria reported.
