To commemorate the city's liberation and its integration into the national body, "Eleftheria Alexandroupolis 2023," a massive Greek flag measuring 618 sq.m. was unfurled in Alexandroupolis. The flag's impressive size is surpassed only by the breathtaking view of the Thracian Sea and Samothrace Island.
