Thessaloniki: Snake found wrapped around the engine of a car

A driver in Thessaloniki recently discovered an unexpected and undoubtedly unwelcomed visitor in his car.

“Animal Rescue and Defence Squad”, a volunteer group for rescuing all animals in danger, wrote on social media that the driver of the car opened the hood of his vehicle and was surprised to see a snake wrapped around the engine.

Volunteers of the group were called to the scene by the Fire Department and managed to remove the snake, which, according to them, was a 1.5-metre-long snake.
