On Monday, three family members from Syria were found in a semi-conscious state due to heat stroke, hidden inside a truck in Igoumenitsa. They are a 65-year-old woman, her 43-year-old daughter, and her 25-year-old son.
They have been taken to Filiaton General Hospital for first aid.
The driver of the truck is, according to Proto Thema, Turkish. The vehicle had probably started its journey from Turkey.
