Culture Minister Lina Mendoni on Friday said that “the government has a strategic plan on the claim for the Parthenon Sculptures” answering to Plefsi Eleftherias MP Alexandros Kazamias regarding the “Scupltures claim and the recent revelation of the stealing of thousands of objects from the British Museum.”

The minister noted that “the government continues to monitor the issue and by no means “can we accept that the British Museum is taking care and protects not only the Greek collections and the Sculptures but the total of its collections.”
Mendoni said that “we will steadily continue to claim the Parthenon Sculptures.”
