Greek Prime Minister Stresses Commitment to Tackling Tax Evasion and Building a Fairer Greece

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in his message to the Greek people on Sunday, said that the government remains adamant against tax injustice and the tackling of tax evasion, stating that "the money from tax evasion will return to society for better health, more funds for education, more effective public security and defense, and support for new families".

Additionally, Mitsotakis presented the recent report from the Independent Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), according to which unemployment dropped to 10 percent in September 2023. "Greece is gradually becoming a fairer country with fewer inequalities."
