Tragedy Strikes Rokkos Family Again: Nikos Dies at Sea

Nikos Rokkos, brother of popular singer Stelios Rokkos, went missing while spearfishing in the Agios Georgios area of Lemnos on Saturday, December 30, 2023. After hours of searching, he was tragically found unconscious and declared dead upon arrival at the Lemnos hospital.

The establishment where Stelios performs confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement, expressing their solidarity with the family during this "difficult moment."

This tragedy is not the first for the Rokkos family. In 2021, Stelios lost his other brother, also at the age of 50, to a heart attack.

According to reports, concerns arose when Nikos, an experienced fisherman, did not return from his outing. Family members contacted the Harbor Office after he became unresponsive for several hours. Coast Guard officers located his boat, equipment, and belongings in the afternoon and deployed divers to search for him.

Sadly, the search concluded with the worst possible outcome for Nikos' loved ones.
