The official ISIS outlet “Al-Amaq” took responsibility for the terror attack in Moscow and claimed the group was specifically targeting an event for Christians at the shopping mall. Tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of the fall of the Caliphate after the Battle of Baghuz.

Over 100 people were hospitalized as a result of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall in the Moscow Region, including 5 children, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said.

"We hospitalized 115 people, five of them are children. One child is in serious condition," he said in an interview with Rossiya-24 TV channel.

He added that 60 adult patients among those hospitalized after the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall are in serious condition, more than 30 people received outpatient care. “Out of 110 adults, 60 patients are in serious condition, more than 30 people sought outpatient care,” he said.

Almost all the operations that were needed by those hospitalized as a result of the terrorist attack have been carried out, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova told reporters.

A terrorist attack was carried out at the Crocus City Hall music venue in the city of Krasnogorsk near Moscow on Friday evening. Unidentified gunmen armed with assault rifles went on a shooting spree. An explosion rocked the building, starting a fire. The special services are conducting a search operation. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin canceled all mass events in the capital in the next two days, and a number of other Russian regions followed suit.

The U.S. seemed to have knowledge that an attack was coming, considering on March 7th, the U.S. warned that "extremists" could target concerts.

The concert hall that was attacked happened to be where Trump held the Miss Universe pageant in 2013.
